Old Leonardo goes up to the roof to hang the laundry. Between sayings and proverbs he will bring to life the mole and the frog, the crow and the fox, or a lion and a mouse, among other characters of fables that he will tell us with the only resources he has at hand: the hanging laundry, a few clothes pegs and the washing utensils. An original proposal to share emotions and old Leonardo’s tenderness and madness.
Atelana Teatro was founded in Seville in the mid-1980s in collaboration with other experimental companies. Their work is based on research of the various interpretative techniques of puppet and object theatre. They use a direct language with texts of their own creation and adaptations of classics. The company’s name comes from the popular Roman Atellan farces, inspired by everyday comedy.
