Producciones Yllana and Töthem have joined forces to create Trash!, a dynamic and energetic show about the possibilities of recycling through percussion, movement and humour.
At a rubbish recycling centre, four imaginative workers give new uses to all sorts of trash and make us reflect on the problem of consumerism in our society.
Butane gas cylinders, umbrellas, balls, tool boxes, horns, rubbish bags… All objects are transformed and converted into the protagonist of a flamboyant musical number full of ingenuity and humour. Be careful! Their crazy talent is contagious.
After working in companies such as Mayumaná, Toompak and Yllana, Gorka González and Jony Elías created the Töthem Company to satisfy their artistic concerns and continue researching for different projects in a multidisciplinary manner.
Yllana was founded in 1991 as a company for gestural comic theatre. At present it is devoted to the creation, production and distribution of audiovisual shows, events and formats; it manages theatrical venues and carries out different projects of a cultural nature. It has produced 37 shows that have been seen by nearly six million spectators.
