María Luisa Tomás is a multidisciplinary artist born in Lorca, in the Spanish region of Murcia. She studied Musical Languages at the Higher Conservatory of Music Narciso Yepes of her home city, received a degree in Dramatic Arts, with specialisation in performance of musicals, at E.S.A.D in Malaga, and studied dance with Thomé Araujo. In addition to her work as an actress, singer, dancer and composer, she creates live sound spaces for theatre and dance staging. In the 2016 MálagaCrea event she was recognised as Best Actress for her performance in Ni un clavo más para tus putos tendones, by Macarena Pons. She is the author of the musical project Tirititando de Luisa with the L.P. Indómita. The union of music and theatre gave rise to La Gatika Producciones, with which she produced the musical Nanai (de eso nada) and Proverbios (pero no chinos).
As an artist committed to the reality that surrounds her, her creations usually contain a critical perspective. She considers art as a way of life, a form of expression that can transform society. She has been developing her artistic skills since a very young age, and cannot imagine doing anything else but create and explore in this world.
