“Life is a mass party to which we have been invited and which we attend with the intention of having a good time, although it’s not always like that. We want to have fun, meet people, dance to the rhythms played by the DJ. But what if there is a ghost at the party? One that has been invoked by the Goddess mixing the sounds, a being who wants to participate but feels invisible, unable to communicate, someone who does not fit in with the group. Dar Ghost is the first creation of Entretanto Fantasma, a new theatre company created when Surterráneo Teatro (Ana Iglesias, Angélica Gómez and Francisco Valero) joined the project founded on Instragram by Soledad Villalba and Pablo Macías. For more than two decades the Malaga-based company Surterráneo Teatro has been producing theatrical pieces that stand out for their thorough process of investigation, search for new dramatic languages and powerful visual aesthetics. Over the last ten years the company has specialised in interventions in non-conventional venues and was the first to develop immersive theatre in Malaga. It was the resident company of the Central de Actuantes at La Térmica cultural centre for seven years, where it produced and programmed more than twenty shows. The Antequera Dolmens Site and the Russian Museum of Malaga are other venues at which the company has performed.
