Barcelona, summer of 1977. Sebas (17) lives in a poor neighbourhood in the suburbs. He is a young man who dreams - like the rest of the country - of coming out of darkness, of poverty, and of discovering everything he does not see at home: happiness, life... the forbidden. As his parents become increasingly involved in the trade-union struggle, he spends a lot of time alone, and his only outlet is to sneak into the swimming pools of nearby neighbourhoods. His story takes an unexpected turn when he discovers the San Sebastian Baths in the port located on the other side of Barcelona, and inside, the mythical swimming pool 'La deliciosa', which is frequented by artists from El Paralelo district, women seeking real equality, homosexuals and transsexuals, hipsters, sailors, prostitutes... In that free, magical summer, he experienced the first democratic elections, the first gay demonstration, the first international libertarian conference, and how young people from all over Europe and the world looked to Barcelona.
Secun de la Rosa created Radio rara, his first theatrical production, in 1999. Since then, he has maintained his theatrical style of self-management and research with an emphasis on dramaturgy, in productions that include El disco de cristal, Los años rápidos and Clara Bow.
