Two major actresses play the roles of a female picaresque and the world that surrounds her. Two actresses with the challenge of playing all the characters, and the constant presence of someone playing a rabel and singing live to accompany the action and create different spaces and atmospheres.
Malvivir is a journey to the dark side of the Golden Age; a tour of the different social layers, scenarios and characters of a turbulent and fascinating time, with over a dozen characters who revolve around Elena de Paz, rebellious, witty, a fugitive who defies the conventions of her time: Montúfar the picaresque, Zara  the Moorish witch, Pierre the Gascon peddler, Teodora the widow dame, Alvaro the nobleman who made his fortune in Peru… A reflection on liberty and survival and the recovery of Baroque feminine picaresque literature.
