Greta, who is running away from her obligations in the city and her parent’s rules, decides to go live in the forest. She comes across a delicious little chocolate house, to which children are allured by the witch who lives there, with the objective of using them in her favourite recipes. The classic fairy tale adapted to current times; in this version the witch has Wi-Fi and uses a cell phone to order through a courier the ingredients for her soup, and the story is interspersed with amusing musical numbers.
This is the fourth production of the company La Caja de Expresiones, founded in the town of Lorca in 2013 and devoted to children’s theatre since 2015.
