The Teatro Real of Madrid brings La Carroza del Real to Malaga as part of its mission as the Spanish national opera of reference and within the framework of its project Cerca de ti.
Mozart Revolution is a concert for families with narration and with the music of one of history’s most virtuoso composers. Arias, duets and overtures for our enjoyment, performed by young musicians and singers who will surprise us. A new and original interpretation of the female characters in Mozart’s operas.
Created in 2020, La Carroza del Teatro Real measures 16 meters long by 5.80 meters high and weighs about five and a half tons. It simulates the stage of a theater -with its embouchure, curtains and backstage- and has been built from the transformation of a trailer truck like those usually used for the transport and storage of scenery, props and costumes for operas.
