Rulo y la Contrabanda returns to the stage to reveal the group’s most intimate and acoustic side. From December 2024 to April 2025, their tour of Spain will take them to the country’s main theatres and auditoriums..
The show’s main protagonist is music, dotted with theatrical parts. It takes place in a carefully designed set that recreates an old train station, with its stationmaster and usual hustle and bustle of passengers coming and going with their suitcases.
Since Rulo decided to split and take another step in his artistic career, this new proposal, in which he presents his songs with a different and original format, has had the full support of spectators who have filled the theatres where he performs. During the show, many different instruments are on stage to dress the songs with special costumes. Rulo has advised us to “not miss this unique journey; do not miss this train.”
In 2010, Raúl Gutiérrez ‘Rulo’, leader and founder, as well as composer, of the rock band La Fuga, decided to go solo and form Rulo y la Contrabanda –a combination of rock with touches of pop and references to Hispanic sounds– with which he has recorded five studio albums and two live ones, with hits such as ‘La cabecita loca’ and ‘Noviembre’. He has also collaborated with many artists, including Dani Martín, Rosendo, El Drogas and Coque Malla.
