The ninth edition of Málaga Clásica has been postponed as a result of Jesus Reina, violinist and co-director of the Festival, having tested positive for coronavirus and of the obligatory quarantine of the violinist and co-director Anna Margrethe Nilsen. The Festival has been rescheduled for the 1st to the 6th of November 2021.
The cost of tickets sold on-line and by telephone will be refunded automatically repaid to the account from which payment was made. Tickets purchased at the box offices can be returned there from the 21st May up to 15 days after the original date of each concert.
The release of the new dates will be announced at a later date.

"As a chamber music festival, and following one of the main philosophies of the genre, we understand the Málaga Clásica ought to be an event closely tied to the audience and to the city in which it is celebrated, with a reciprocal relationship in which all parts feel involved in the enjoyment of music. is is why in this VII edition we want young talents to be able to participate in this festival, giving them the opportunity to perform and to share experiences with musicians of international prestige who are invited to the festival. Those young talents, who will be chosen through an audition process by our artistic directors, will be in charge of performing in the concerts of this series and will also be the ones receiving the masterclasses programmed throughout the festival."  Jesús Reina and Anna Margrethe Nilsen artistic directors
