Bach entre amigos presents Baroque musical jewels in an atmosphere of music and friendship. The musical synergy created by the members of the Galamian Ensemble with the soprano Alba Chantar and the conductor Antonio del Pino connects with Juan Sebastian Bach. In turn, the genius from Eisenach will be joined by his musical “friends”, the composers Buonamente, Schmelzer, Corelli, Vivaldi, Pergolesi, Tessarini and Iribarren for an evening that promises moments of contemplation and emotion geared at implicating the audience in the great celebration that music embodies.
The Galamian Ensemble was created due to the desire to collaborate with musicians linked to the Galamian Academy. The latter was founded more than 10 years ago has benefitted since from the participation of outstanding international maestros. Led by violinists Jesús Reina and Anna Nilsen, the Galamian Ensemble is versatile in its repertoire, ranging from pieces for duos and trios to chamber orchestra. On this occasion, the ensemble will be joined by Alba Chantar, a young soprano from Ronda who won first prize in the Intercentros Melómano regional phase and first prize in the 23rd MalagaCrea Young Performers Exhibition in 2012, among other awards, and by Antonio del Pino, doctor in musicology, violist, organist and choral conductor, winner of the 2019 Prize for Best Musical Work of the Year awarded by the Malaga City Council.
