David Palomar’s singing is imbued with the flamenco flavour of the La Viña neighbourhood of Cadiz, where he was born. His styles and creative personality preserve the essence left by Manolo Vargas, Pericón, Santiago Donday and La Perla de Cádiz. He has travelled all over the world with the companies of Javier Barón, Paco Peña and Cristina Hoyos, and has collaborated with Carlos Saura, Vicente Amigo, Pepe de Lucía, José Mercé, Alejandro Sanz, Miguel Poveda and Pasión Vega. He has won the 2016 Bandera de Andalucía award, the 6th El Suplemento Best Album Award for Denominación de origen and the Manolo Caracol and Camarón Awards at the 18th National Flamenco Singing Competition of Cordoba.
