Nómadas is the new proposal headed by the composer Lucía Rey, with textures of Mediterranean music, flamenco, traditional Spanish music, Latin jazz... that merge with the languages of current jazz and contemporary and electronic music. An evocative journey to exotic places.
Nómadas has a bold, poetic piano performance style that combines with the rhythmic work of drummer Michael Olivera and double bass player Ander García.
Lucía Rey Trio is a jazz project founded in 2017. The formation, led by pianist and composer Lucía Rey, has extensive experience in the most important circuits, halls and jazz festivals in Spain (Madrid International Jazz Festival, Getxo International Jazz Festival, Jazz en la Costa, Lugo Jazz Festival, Cadiz Jazz Festival, Jazz I Am, Music Festival in Segura, etc...) and is currently in the process of internationalisation with its presence in events such as Jazz Plaza de Cuba, Jazz in the Park or the EUNIC Festival of Bucharest....
