Bari, Italia. Considered one of the most significant, all round talents of his generation by international critics. After training with the greatest maestros, he debuted at an extremely early age and immediately won the first prizes in competitions as prestigious as the Concort, the Ciudad de Jaén and Terence Judd in Europe, and the Robert Casadesu, Gina Bachauer and Van Cliburn in the USA.
His tireless work as a concert pianist regularly takes him to the most illustrious stages in Europe, the USA and Japan, working with conductors like Peter Maag, Kent Nagano, Víctor Pablo Pérez, Michel Plasson, Michael Stern and Stanislaw Skrowaczewski, Frans Brüggen, to name but a few. He has made numerous recordings, including the complete piano and orchestra works of R. Schumann with Peter Maag and the RSI Orchestra, as well as the latest compositions by Nino Rota. He also works frequently with chamber music, registered in many European and North American radio and television programmes. He currently teaches at the Nino Rota Conservatory in Monopoli, Italy, and gives master classes throughout the world.
