This unique concert brings together a group of three masters of jazz. Zakir Hussain, arguably the world’s best tabla player, decisive in the opening up of new musical horizons and the protagonist of bold collaborations with other legends of the genre such as Yo-Yo Ma, John McLaughlin and Mikey Hart; banjo star Béla Fleck, who experiments with jazz, funk and bluegrass exploring from Bach to West African griot chants, when he is not on tour with The Flecktones, and Edgar Meyer, hailed by The New Yorker as "the most remarkable virtuoso of the double bass in the unchronicled history of this instrument". More than a trio, this is a reunion of musical geniuses capable of competing with any “superband” in the history of jazz. The melody of rhythm, where they prove that borders between genres can be absurd, is being a big success in the USA where they are on tour.
