Although Chavela Vargas and Concha Buika have a deep friendship, it was Chucho Valdés who thought of the Mallorcan artist of Guinean origin interpreting the songs that are famous thanks to the voice of Chavela Vargas, Costa Rican by birth but Mexican by heart and conviction, as a tribute on the occasion of her 90th birthday.
