Mónica Naranjo’s idea to tour with a symphonic orchestra came about because of her interest in bringing a new intensity to the big hits in her musical career, putting more heart into the songs to offer them as an act of intimate communication between the artist and the public, something which would be impossible in larger tours. For this undertaking she enlisted Pepe Herrero, a new talent in classical Spanish music, who understood the project perfectly. Thereafter, he undertook the titanic task of selecting the repertoire and adapting it to the classic arrangements to give the audience nuances and emotions, creating an atmosphere of magic, passion and romance, with passages of delicate subtlety or grand orchestral tuttis.
The Symphonic Film Orchestra of Madrid, founded by maestro Herrero and occasionally including members of the Orquesta Nacional de España, the Orquesta Sinfónica de RTVE, the Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid , meets the need in Spain for professional orchestras dedicated to soundtracks and meets the musical demands to turn this dream into a reality.
The entire show is supported by a visual projection that narrates the story of a character played by a marionette.
